Project Description:
WRECO is currently assisting Caltrans District 4 with water quality support services for compliance with Section 401 of the Clean Water Act (CWA), and water quality compliance for 25 projects. Some of these projects include Airport Boulevard/101 Interchange Project in Sonoma County, San Mateo Hayward Bridge Rehabilitation Project in San Mateo County, and Alamo Creek Bridge Geotechnical Studies Project in Solano County.

For this project, WRECO is preparing the following deliverables:
  • Existing Wetlands/Waters of the State mapping, jurisdictional and impacts calculations,
  • 401 or WDR (NPDES) permit related studies and cost estimates for mitigation related to PID and PA/ED development,
  • 401 certification application and necessary attachments,
  • Environmental Commitments Record update for PID, PA/ED and PS&E phases,
  • Plans, specifications, quantities, and estimates for mitigation work proposed, and
  • Impact assessment mapping, wetland tracking information, permit applications and Wetland Delineation Reports.
WRECO is also providing compliance and construction support.
