Project Description:
WRECO is part of the Project Team for the proposed extension of the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) to the San Jose Line Segment from Warm Springs to San Jose. The proposed Line Segment (aerial guideway) includes several grade separations, Mission Boulevard, Warren Avenue, Kato Road, Dixon Landing Road, Hostetter Road and Sierra/Lundy Avenue. WRECO is responsible for the roadways, BART tracks and relocated Union Pacific Railroad tracks drainage design and required stormwater treatment. WRECO is also responsible for the peer review of the floodplain evaluations and the analyses of pump station hydrology.

For the Mission Boulevard and Warren Avenue crossings, WRECO performed hydraulic analysis and design for the proposed relocation of the Alameda County Flood Control & Water Conservation District's Line D (Agua Fria) and Line D-1 flood control channels. The design required detailed hydraulic modeling and permit application with the Alameda County Flood Control & Water Conservation District.
