Project Description:
The Bay Area Rapid Transit District (BART) Oakland Airport Connector (OAC) Design Build Project is located in the City of Oakland from the Coliseum BART Station to Oakland International Airport.

WRECO performed the following key tasks: identified existing dry and wet utilities that are in conflict with the new structures; obtained pothole data and produces exhibits showing clearances and sections; conducted QA/QC for utility plans by entity incoordination with the client/contractor for constructability; prepared utility conflict matrices to outline existing conditions, proposed design and proposed construction; prepared the conceptual design for the horizontal and vertical alignment of the East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) water line relocation for constructability per the City's standards; and researched as-builts and applied to drawings.

WRECO also developed storm drainage designs to avoid conflicts with the new structures. The drainage design included hydrologic and hydraulic calculations to meet the drainage criteria.
